Random Thoughts: The Unboxing Part 1
Hey hey hey, bet you couldn’t wait to find out what I got over Christmas huh. Well this is Part 1 out of 3! Just before Christmas, I finally had the opportunity to meet up with my dear book blogger buddies Choulyin and Farah. We’d agreed to exchange pressies not because of Christmas but…just because it’s fun! And what fun we had! The task was to open them one by one in front of each other. Quite daunting perhaps as you start to wonder if you got the other enough to constitute a pressie. So let’s see what those lovelies got me shall we!
Sorry about the mess but as I mentioned above, these were already opened before this picture was taken. Any guesses yet? I spy something that looks like paper and something plastic.
First and foremost, okay, because this one has less goodies to unwrap aka less mess, is my pressie pack #1 from Choulyin!
And…in typical book blogger fashion, I GOT ANOTHER BOOK!! Squeee!!! And a James Patterson too! She knows me well, this one *nods*. Looks like I’m starting another new crime series collection! And ooo…pray tell what’s in that sexy black and red bag?

None other than a *drumroll please* SLEEK storm PALETTE! Woots!! My first real makeup palette! Believe it or not. Here’s some closeup piccies of it.

Ain’t it pretty?? I’m liking those colours lots. Hmm….what colour combos can I create with them *wonders* Look forward to some EOTDs ya!
THANKIES Choulyin for my pressies!!!
Now, onto pressie pack #2, from Farah! She did a lot of wrapping. And I mean a LOT! I guess she likes to wrap. Or likes to show off her wrapping skills??
First up, this strange looking shape of a pressie. It was strange due to its general flatness of width too. My first thought was…paper goodies? Like stickers or something?? But she couldn’t have found out about my sticker craze, could she?
And I kid you not, to make it seem a little thicker, she made us go through TWO layers of wrapping to get at the goodie within. And there she sat, laughing away *cue Maleficent-like laugh* as Choulyin and I clawed and shredded our way through those paper folds, looking for some clue of what lay inside the package. And when we finally found it, it was…eeps!! A Kinokuniya voucher!! MORE BOOKSSSS!!!! Yes yes YES!! Soo worth all that paper struggle! *pants from tiredness*

After that great surprise, came…another package! Noooooo…
Luckily this one was bigger and easier to unwrap. Because it was…a lovely teal Lovisa bracelet! Yay for accessories!
Then came the next one. Oh dear gosh does this gal love to wrap I tell you. Do you know how many times I ripped the wrappings?
This was a small one, so it was difficult to guess too but alas, it turned out to be…an Etude House Play 101 Pencil! Kyaa…it’s as if my gals cooked up their present-giving together. I already have an eyeshadow palette from Choulyin, and now a pencil liner from Farah!

But that wasn’t all. For she had more stuff up her very long sleeves! And produced this longish tube thingy.
Well, I got it partly right, for it was something that smells yummy and is good for the hands and is…The Body Shop’s Vanilla Brulee Hand Cream! Yahoo..I love vanilla! My poor hands need some loving after all that Christmas house-cleaning.

And…OMG…but she wasn’t done yet. Had she no mercy on our already painful fingers? Na-ah…1 last one for the count came out of her seemingly Mary Poppins-like bag of goodies.
Another odd-shaped pressie that turned out to be yummy, this time for the tummy. It was…a bag of Arnott’s TIM TAMS!! Chocolate ones too! Choulyin got the Caramel ones. Thank goodness I didn’t. Whew…dodged a bullet there LOLZ.
THANKIES Farah for my pressies!
So in total, I got food, a hand cream, an eye liner, an eyeshadow palette, a bracelet, a book voucher, and a book! OMG! I’m so excited to try, eat, use, read my pressies now! I’m a happy girl!
Thank you again my darlings! This means a lot to me! And what makes it so much better was the way we met…through The Butterfly Project! *BIG SHOUT-OUT to my fellow butterflies* because without that great community, I might have never gotten to know these 2 incredible lovelies.
Psst…if you wanna know what I got THEM, go stalk their blogs/Facebook pages to find out. They’ve started using some of the things I gave them already (so fast right!).
Same time tomorrow for more unboxing of pressies! Byez…
