Based on a survey conducted by Taiwan Tourism in 2012, the top attractions for inbound tourists are sights and sceneries, food and shopping. As such, the Taiwan Travel Fair will also highlight three major experiences under the theme of “Time to Enjoy Life”:

Eating Time

When it comes to food, Taiwan has it all. Dine like royalty without paying a king’s ransom for it. From juicy seasonal fruits, sumptuous traditional Chinese dishes, healthy vegetarian dishes, icy desserts to creative tea drinks, Taiwanese cuisine makes full use of local ingredients and age-old techniques to surprise and satisfy your palate. Don’t forget the world-famous night markets, filled with the enticing aromas of delicious street food and snacks!

Shopping Time

Taiwan is a shopaholic’s dream come true, with many large shopping centres and chain department stores in all four corners of the island. Shop for anything you want, from high-quality made-in-Taiwan 3C products, to famous highland tea and handmade weavings. For the fashion lover, all kinds of affordable clothing, leather goods and branded products are at your fingertips. In Taiwan, you are sure to find just about everything you want.

Sightseeing Time on Two Wheels

These days, the LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) trend is gaining popularity as people begin to be more health and eco-conscious. Taiwan is well-known for its LOHAS practices, and there is no better way to experience it than to travel along the breath-taking coastal highways by bicycle! Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and appreciate the simple yet wonderful things in life with your loved ones.

Bod Talk: A Worthy Book Mini Haul

As a savvy consumer, we’re always on the lookout for great deals. And with the impending GST coming very very soon, we need to grab those bargains like…ASAP! That’s what I did one weekend with my Worthy Book! I’ve been using this coupon deal book for a few years now and it’s always treated me well. Love that there’s one for food, and one for shopping. This time I made use of the shopping Book aka Ladies Edition Worthy Book!

There’s some crazy thing about me and soaps. I LOVE soaps! And have quite a few of them. Maybe too many, but it’s something I can’t seem to pass up on. Also, they make good gifts. Small in size and pretty, or sweet-smelling. This round, I got myself a Tilley soap! I got some as gifts last year, also with Worthy Book tee hee… and this time it was the same.

Tilley has a small range of lovely soaps at the TNS Skinlab outlets nationwide.

And as i was at The Curve, I had to go get me some more! And of course, to make use of the voucher.

And this is what I got myself! A Tilley Marscella for Sensitive Skin!

This Tilley soap is suitable for sensitive skin and it’s non-perfumed too for those whose skin can’t take fragrances. The normal price of Tilley soaps are RM12. But with the Worthy Book voucher I used, it only cost me….THAT’S RIGHT….RM5!! Woots! One note! More than half off! Now how could I ever pass on that. The nice lady at the outlet didn’t know about the Worthy Book deal but was very obliging after she read the voucher details. Also, i’ve never had an issue using the vouchers so I’ll continue using Worthy Book to get me my deals.

Don’t pass up the chance to grab a Worthy Book for yourselves as it’s really handy and the vouchers are all pocket-sized so you can bring them along with you without hassle.

Do check out the great deals in the current issue that you’ll be able to grab. There are lots of FREEBIES as well. FREE waxing and hand treatments. A great way to pamper yourself, or even a loved one. Worthy Book And it’s just RM25 but worth so much more! If you want to know more about Worthy Book, check out the links below:
