March is the month we celebrate International Women’s Day, and as such, is about honouring women, and especially those who struggle with tremendous obstacles, rise above them and continue persevering. In-line with such an important event, Milestone Production Sdn Bhd is presenting “REMEMBERING WHITNEY – THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL”, a 90-minute live music concert direct from glitzy Las Vegas, on the 22nd and 23rd of March 2019 at Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur in celebration of the life and top selling hits of the late Whitney Houston.

The show is in tribute to Whitney Houston, one of the most awarded female artists of all time by Guinness World Records. Although she battled many hardships, she made an impact in the world today because she believed in herself, reflecting the lyrics in her song “Greatest Love of All” – “I decided long ago never to walk in anyone’s shadow; if I fail, or if I succeed at least I did as I believe”.

In a show of support for International Women’s Day, Milestone Production invites show goers to join in the celebration of honouring women, by “sponsoring a survivor” to catch the show. Every “sponsor a survivor” ticket purchased will go to a female survivor (single mothers and cancer survivors for example) and comes with a light dinner. According to Grace Lee, Managing Director of Milestone Production Sdn Bhd, “For the past 17 years, Milestone Production has always looked for different ways to give back to the community through performing arts. Trina Johnson Finn, the star of “REMEMBERING WHITNEY – THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL” is known as one of the few women who can step into Whitney’s “larger-than-life” role, will enthrall Malaysians with breathtaking renditions of Whitney’s memorable classics, including “Greatest Love of All”, “I’m Every Woman”, “Queen of the Night”, “How Will I Know”, “I Will Always Love You”, “I Have Nothing”, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, to name a few. Getting To Know Trina Johnson Finn 

Trina is no stranger to the entertainment industry and has appeared on such shows like The Grammy’s, Oprah, the MTV Music Video Awards, the BET Awards, and the American Music Awards to name a few and has graced the stage with iconic entertainers ranging from Barbra Streisand to MC Hammer, Michael Bolton to Valerie Simpson, Smokey Robinson to Martha Reeves, and Marilyn Manson to The Family Stone.

As a Recording Artist, Trina was a featured vocalist on MC Hammer’s “Please Hammer Don’t Hurt ’em” album which showcased hits like “You Can’t Touch This” and the project sold over 20 million albums world-wide. Trina was also signed as a solo artist on MC Hammer’s record label and toured the world with him for several years as a backup singer and dancer.
